"What a great space for a get together with friends. The organization I work for was honored with a dinner by our Board of Directors. I had been to Free Cycles before for some bike maintenance, but never walked through. It is a very warm space w it h great lighting and wood everything everywhere. "This place is awesome. They have thousands of used bikes to chose from. For $30 or 90 minutes of volunteering in thier facility, they will let you chose and help you fix one of these bikes. They supply all of the parts and have an experienced crew to help even the most mechanically challenged (like myself) fix a bike to take home! They also have a showroom of bikes they've already repaired for sale and great prices. Everyone was so incredibly kind and patient. I absolutely love how they make biking possible for everyone in our community. They are using equipment that would otherwise go in a landfil and give it new life. All while teaching new skills to everyone who walks through the doors. And they do it with a smile on thier face! We need more places like Free Cycles."
