"I've lived here my whole life and can't believe I had never gone! They have some really cool stuff, some of the exhibits are a little rough and or missing items/parts... it seems like a lot of what is there was possibly donated. It needs some TLC but overall I enjoyed it. Admission prices very reasonable!"
"This is a good place to learn about Alaska, the pass and present animals, and all things science about Alaska. I totally understand this place to anyone. Especially to people with small children."
"Took my 3yr old here, who is learning about dinosaurs. He loved the younger scavenger hunt and treasure! They packed allot into a small space. Even know it seems small we weirdly spent 2 hours here. They have dig pits and shelves of toys that are either creative play or museum themed. Wonderful use of time. Will come again."
"We love the Museum of Science and Nature. The kids always find fun new things to learn about, and so do I! There is a quiet play area with a digging area (socks are required to play there) and a bunch of creative play items (puzzles, play food, felt board/figures, etc.). The scavenger hunt pages are a great starting point to be sure to visit each exhibit. The building is fairly small, but absolutely packed with learning opportunities/artifacts."
"For the price to experience ratios it’s definitely worth it. It’s a great opportunity for kids to learn about animal history. They also have interactive worksheets to give the kids some joy out of the experience."
