"I would recommend this store if you're looking for a local business to support and are not going through insurance. I've purchased some great items from them not through insurance, however I did have a lactation consultation with the impression I was going to get reimbursed (like their website states) once my insurance was billed. That was last 10 months ago. I have emailed, called, and stopped by the store numerous times to check on the status of the reimbursement. At this point, I know it's not going to get done, so just want others to be aware. Again, a good, local store - just don't hold your breath for any insurance claims."

From helping me get a pump through my insurance to helping me assess latching issues and showing me how to use a supplemental nursing system...every step was kind and thoughtful. "The nursing nook is fabulous—only place like it in town (or anywhere I’ve ever lived). Staff are knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help you whether it’s finding the right nursing bra or pump or what have you. They are very generous with their time and even do research sometimes after you’re gone and follow up. The human touch here is remarkable. And their stuff is affordable."

"Ended up disappointed in this business. They were friendly in the shop but have zero interest or knowledge in billing insurance. Never called or updated me. I had to call my insurance. She said she called them and they weren’t in network however I called and they paid 100% of my pump. I also called for a refund on something they never ordered for me I’ve called and text with no response."
