"Definitely a bare bones motel experience. The air conditioner did not work, we had to request toilet paper, a TV was not working, and sheets on one bed were definitely not clean. There was no coffee available although the ice machine did work! The website says dog friendly but they hesitated when I said we had one and was charged $25.00. It was late at night and we were exhausted or definitely would have moved on."
"This motel could be characterized as an old stand by in short term lodging nightly or a weekend. It has a good well lit parking lot and appears secure all the way around. There was someone attacked by a knife wielding criminal so there is the good mixed with the bad around here. I've stayed here on a few occasions and I was always met by friendly and courteous staff. The rooms are spacious, the air and heating works well. The motel is within walking distance of downtown and a short hop to the University. The pricing is reasonable."
"The owners were nice on the phone. I saw she slipped on a small discount for us on the invoice. But as for the condition of things, it was seriously overpriced, in my opinion. They made the late check-in really easy by us calling ahead. But regrettably the room needed some work. There were small dead bugs on one of the beds, there was hardly any toilet paper left on the roll and there weren't any backup rolls. It was a classic motel- vibe but unfortunately it missed the mark."
"First and foremost. I stayed there for a week. Check in was ok please understand THEY do not accept cash. Owner and his wife stated that there isn't an overnight or even a day staff until they get there. Room in my opinion was WAY over priced. Upon entering room exposed wires 2room plugs total one of which was barely mounted. Bathroom was small and quaint but lights made it seem like a torture room instead of a bathroom. Beds were basically roll away beds. My dog came out of the room and the owner freaked out because he wasn't on a leash. Then he stated that they really don't accept dogs mine is a service animal. Also saw other guest with dogs off leash and owner never said a word. Owner did state that he is starting renovations. Overall not worth the money"
