"The people working here were really kind and understanding the first time I visited back in August. However, the front desk attendant couldn't get my insurance to run and told me my company is notoriously difficult. I have very good military insurance and have never had issues. I ended up having to call their billing department to get it sorted. Their phone lines don't take you to the clinic you visited, but rather to a call or help center? It took forever and the woman on the phone was very condescending and rude to me. I came back last month for the same health problem as last time because they were the only clinic open after I get off work. This time, the nurse I had was great, but the doctor was not. I didn't catch her name, but she was an older woman and talked to me like a child. I had a common women's health issue that is not difficult to self-diagnose. She kept asking me questions and doubting me no matter what I said. Then, she wouldn't believe me when I told her I react poorly to OTC meds. She then asked me if I was "absolutely miserable" and could wait a day for prescriptions. I understand and expected to need my lab result back before a prescription, but there is no reason to speak to a patient like that. The next day was New Year's Day, and I waited hours after my (positive) lab results were back to hear from her. I ended up having to call the help center to ask them to prod her into calling me before the pharmacies closed early for the holidays. When she finally did, she told me exactly what the online lab results already said, which was exactly what I told her was wrong during my appointment. She then sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. When I got my bill for this appointment, I made the mistake of not looking at it until payday so I could pay it. I assumed that since we'd done this before, I input my insurance AGAIN during check-in, and it had covered me for the same issue last time, that it'd be fine. That's my fault, and also a huge mistake because they yet again did not bill my insurance. With my schedule, I don't have the time to call their help desk to get this sorted. And, honestly, I'd rather pay the extra money to avoid being talked down to again. I'm super lucky my bill wasn't any higher and fortunate enough to be able to afford it. However, insurance is an absolutely necessity for many people and this could severely impact someone in a worse situation. Other poor reviews have also mentioned billing issues. TLDR; If you want to be treated with respect and want your insurance billed properly, go anywhere else."
"Wasted what I had left of my FLEX dollars here. When I made the appointment I said exactly why I was coming in. They said they couldn't help me because they offer limited services, now they are going to bill me for tha piece of wisdom. If they know they can't help you based on what you wrote online when making the appointment, then they shouldn't accept the appointment in the first place. BEWARE"
"Providence Express Care in Missoula, Montana is #1 in my book. I have had to go there a few times now once when I had RSV that turned into pneumonia and a follow up visit and recently when I was stung by a wasp. My leg was swollen almost twice the size and I had a 6”x3” bright reddish-purple splotch at the sting site. It looked pretty bad and it felt worse… The entire team quickly and efficiently knew exactly what to do and they treated me professionally, respectfully, compassionately and with kindness. Great Team of Amazing People!"
"My wife tried taking our sick 1 year old who was throwing up all night long and the front desk woman was extremely rude. She would not engage with my wife besides saying she had to make an appointment online in a snotty tone, or tell her even when the next appointment was. What’s the point of her being there if she can’t answer questions and help people check in? The front desk woman also had an attitude when we went last summer and made snotty comments to us for our insurance being difficult to process when that’s not our fault. Honestly it has been probably the worst interaction with any medical provider, avoid this place and woman if you want any decent care."
"Excellent and speedy care provided. Staff were courteous and attentive. Clinic was immaculate. It was a little difficult to find as the building sign was loose and flapping with the wind. After my visit, I went to the pharmacy but they didn't carry the prescribed medication. The pharmacy was able to speak with Lindsey, the nurse practitioner, right away to get a comparable medication ordered. I highly recommend the ExpressCare. Thanks!"
