"I was on hold for over an hour to only be told that I need to be transferred to a different department that handles their 2024 billing. I have now been on hold for over 2 hours and 30 mins, and plan to be on hold for another 2+ hours. Horrible!"

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Would give negative stars if I could. I was blindsided getting this separate bill for my ER visit at American Fork Hospital. (I have always had a positive experience with IHC billing). This separate billing service for the doctors is absolutely terrible. I've called 3 times now-different days and times, always with a wait time of 45-75 minutes. That's after I go through the 10 minute process of entering all of my information. With calls/hold times like this-I have low confidence I will even get through so it is not worth the investment of my time. I am ready and willing to pay the bill but I am not supported in ways to make that payment. They do not have a call back option or a way to set up a payment plan online. So my only option is to keep calling and try to get a better wait time, which I have low confidence in. This will stop me from going to the American Fork Hospital ER in the future because they use this separate service for the ER doctors. I will be finding somewhere else for Emergency Care."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. They said “I don’t know, go to the ER.” Then they sent an almost $600 bill to an incorrect address. And then sent it to collections because they sent the bill to the wrong address. Apparently this is not the same as the ER that it’s attached to and they don’t tell you that. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC, the CFPB, and the BBB if you’re on there. When a patient updates their address, it’s up to you to send that bill to new address. The fact that there are so many other similar experiences to mine demonstrates a gross lack of competence, extreme negligence, and is extremely predatory towards patients, buts it’s obvious you guys don’t care about patients. Giving literally no care, charging patients for a literal “I don’t know” (this is called charging for services not rendered), then sending the bill to an incorrect address, and then sending that to collections. It’s such a common occurrence here, it’s almost as if it’s part of their SOP’s."

"I called IH who AF hospital is billed under. They transferred me to Physician billing, and there is absolutely no balance and the account numbers do not match anything with that actual company. This is a scam"

"My experience wasn't as bad as other reviews. I don't like that obscurity around billing. I had no idea that the doctor was billed separately from the hospital. They did send my bill in a timely manner."
