"Misty is such a special midwife and friend. The support that she provides extends beyond her thorough medical and professional care. She takes the time to foster genuine connections with clients and their families throughout pregnancy so that when your baby is ready to be born, her presence provides confidence and comfort in the most intense moments. She is as hands-on as you need her to be during labor! Whether you need space and quiet or physical support and verbal encouragement/ emotional support. I've worked with Misty professionally as a birth assistant, as well as being fortunate enough to receive care from her during my own home birth with Christine Larson of Olive Branch Midwifery (both a part of SLC Midwives Collective). As a community midwife Misty maintains positive professional relationships with other midwives and birth workers to expand your support network as needed. She's thoughtful and consistent, easy to love and work with. The families in our community are fortunate to have her!"
