"By far the worst rental company I've rented with! They tell you you'll get a refund for their utility fee for what you don't use and after almost a year we have yet to see any refund. Also we had mold on the wall in the basement they just told us to spray bleach on it, turned out to be a roof leak. Way to go Ameritrue. Also they don't communicate very well unless you wanna count when they email you like 5 days before the 1st asking for rent. I will never rent from them again and encourage anyone else who likes to keep their money to skip over this company as well. And the bi monthly inspections are ridiculous as clearly we are taking better care of the property then they are. I hope this company goes bankrupt."

"Never renting through them ever again!!! When we scheduled a showing, they were 30 minutes late. So unprofessional and waste of time. Our basement apartment also had mold on the ceilings and in the shower. Our backyard was covered in weeds and no matter how many times I had pulled them out, they would grow back within a week and they kept getting after us for it when it was like that when we moved in. Also, terrible communication. We had a gas leak in the furnace and after informing them it took them multiple days to respond and even help us out. After moving out, we were informed to pay for the carpet cleaning and for someone to work on the backyard. We decided to use some of our deposit money towards that. Anyways, we only got like $300 back in our refund because they charged us for other things we didn’t know about. Also, $200 for cleaning?! That’s crazy. They say $1000 is refundable but no matter how hard you work to make sure the place is clean you won’t be getting like any of your deposit back. Even drove by the place and the backyard still looks like a disaster. Worst place to ever go through"
