"I had a 9mo lease with Icon and though I’m not a fan of apts, I enjoyed my time here and it is one of the nicer apartments I’ve lived in. Maintenance is quick and it’s a peaceful complex. Con’s are that they’re a little pricey for what you get & that a lot of tenants don’t pick up their own dogs’ poop.."
"My upstairs neighbors have repeatedly flooded water through my ceiling. I contacted maintenance to have my ceiling repaired but it has dripped water almost every day, they said to wait a week for it to be dry but it never lasts that long before it leaks again. The maintenance guy told me this happened twice before I moved in and they had to repair the ceiling both times. I called and left a voicemail to inform the office that the water has still been dripping every few days so we can’t schedule the ceiling repair. They never called me back. Today I came home and it was dripping so much a lot of my floor was soaking wet and a few of my personal items were soaked. I will be calling tomorrow again to let the office know. But I don’t feel this is safe. I worry about my health considering it’s likely growing mold. The upstairs neighbors clearly don’t seem to follow the office request to be mindful of water splashing onto their floor and down to my apartment. Not sure how many times this has to happen before further action is taken by management."
"I've really enjoyed living here up until recently. If you want to park even remotely close to your apartment after 9 PM, good luck. On multiple occasions I've circled the WHOLE complex and found no available spots. Management needs to provide parking passes for tenants!!! I parked in a covered parking stall and got towed. While I take accountability for the inappropriate parking, I never would have resorted to it if there was a spot available ANYWHERE in the complex. Management, please fix this problem."
"Honestly, really disappointed with my experience today. Last winter, I toured Icon 9700 and LOVED it. The leasing agent (female) was friendly, welcoming and truly made me feel like I wanted to call this place home. However, my partner wanted to choose a different area. Fast forward to today, as we begin to search for new apartments / different areas, I was really excited to get a tour set for Icon again. This time, my experience was less than pleasant. The leasing guy (name started with a C) seemed miserable. Seriously, as if we were burdening him by taking a tour, even though we scheduled an appt. He gave a lousy tour, skimming over the amenities and did not give any information regarding the model unit we were touring. We asked to see the three bedroom model, of which he said with an attitude "was on the other side of the property." On the walk there, crickets. I don't expect a chatty Cathy, but this customer service to potential tenants? I don't think this career is the right path. I would like to give benefit of the doubt that he was having a bad day, but both my partner and I spoke with him over the phone previous days and each time it was the same bad attitude. Needless to say, this is not the apartment complex for us. So unprofessional."
"My partner and I recently had the pleasure of moving into Icon 9700 apartments in Sandy, Utah, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the initial application process to exploring floor plans and finally settling into our new home, everything went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. The leasing agent, Corbin, was extremely helpful and informative over the phone. He guided us through the application process, ensuring we secured the unit we desired – a top-floor corner unit with breathtaking views of the mountains. The application approval was surprisingly quick, which allowed us to plan our move with ease. Before moving in, we utilized the property's website, which offered an array of virtual tour options and measurement tools. This gave us a detailed understanding of our chosen floor plan and allowed us to envision our furniture arrangement beforehand. It was a valuable resource that made our move-in preparation stress-free. On the day of our move-in, Assistant Manager Trenna welcomed us to the clubhouse. She took the time to thoroughly review the lease agreement and personally inspected our apartment with us. We discovered a small issue with stained carpet in the master bedroom, but Trenna promptly assured us that it would be replaced, putting our minds at ease. We are looking forward to enjoying the amenities the property has to offer. The pool, gym, and clubhouse are all well-maintained and provide the perfect spaces for relaxation and socializing. However, the highlight of our experience at Icon 9700 is undoubtedly the stunning view of the mountains. Not every building or unit faces the mountains, and some may be obstructed by other nearby structures. We feel fortunate to have secured a unit with such a picturesque backdrop. For those seeking a great view, we highly recommend doing thorough research beforehand, including using tools like Google Maps to simulate potential views."
