James Pointe Apartments

"There are alot of changes and improvements being done by the office staff and management. The maintenance department is always quick, professional, and communicate well about things. It's easy to forget how many moving parts there must be to managing an apartment complex, but when push comes to shove the staff is professional and responsive."

"I’d avoid this apartment at all costs. When I first moved in, I stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath next to the dog park and pool. A little noisy but not too bad. The pool seemed to always be shut down and whenever I went to the hot tub, it was always closed off as well. After my lease was up, I downsized to a one bed one bath on the other side of the complex. When I moved in, there were holes in my walls, pipes from my sink missing, and the apartment was in shambles. When I called to ask why it looked so rough, they said they accidentally fixed the wrong one. So for the next week I had maintenance coming in at 7 am every morning to try to fix things around my apartment. Not only did things break along with my heater would stop but this side of the complex is a lot darker than the side I was living on before. I had people consistently steal any packages I got and my mailbox was completely destroyed from people breaking into it so often. To the point I had to change my mailing address a few months into living there due to my checks being stolen non stop. I had to call the police multiple times for different things. I never felt safe living here and even had a friend add a second lock to my door. The area itself is not great and they charge way too much for the environment along with the apartment itself."

"This is my second move to an apartment in Jame Pointe. The only problem I have encountered was the self cleaning I had to do to make it comfortable for me. I have made it my own and my past history has been wonderful, especially dealing with Barbara and the staff."

"I only lived at these apartments for 1 yr because the Customer Service is horrible they have 2 ladies Barbara Peterson and the other named Karen. After moving out i asked for a walk thru Barbara said they do not do that so i took pictures of the place when i moved out just in case of anything. Then a few weeks later i get a statement with all these fees for wear and tear which i understand they have to clean wash the carpet but then i also received a charge from Rhino for wear and tear bc they James Pointe opened a claim which i paid $257 to then i called the office to make sure if that was the total a lady named Layney said yes that wouldve been taken care of well Not! Days later i get a statement from Barbara Peterson with charges of $466.00 so i went over the charges with her on the phone the only thing i questioned was a charge of $150.00 for kitchen countertops she stated they were damaged i told her they were not and i had taken pictures she replied saying they did too i asked for the pictures to see what they were claiming she stated they couldnt do that and hung up on me . I tried calling her and left messages but she never called back few days later she finally answers and tells me she sent my information to collections for not paying what they were charging me when all this time i was asking her for proof . Please see pictures attached they are no damages that they are claiming the staff there is horrible this explains why lots of people were moving out i hope corporate reaches out to me .Update i spoke with corporate and they were not able to help at all . If this review helps in any becareful they are nice in the beginning but once you sign the lease they show their true colors."
