"I have never had such a great experience at any other hotel. I stayed at this Marriott for 4 days, and the staff were amazing! I had called up on the day of my check-in, due to it being the day that my husband and I were getting married. I wanted to see if we could get an early check-in so that it would make our schedule a little easier, if possible. Not only did they accommodate that, but when we got in the room there was a little setup with a card congratulating us on our special day, but also a credit toward the hotel store, and a bottle of sparking cider with 2 wine glasses! They made us feel special and added a great memory for our wedding day! The room had a great set up, was clean, and we had no complaints! I plan on staying here, every time that I travel to Salt Lake! Thank you, Marriott! I am glad that you give your staff these options to make your customer's experience more enjoyable! You are wonderful!"
"Unfortunately this hotel seems to be poorly managed and understaffed. As someone who has to live in hotels for weeks to months I typically try to be considerate of the hard work hotel staff do for customers. However, there has just been one disappointment after another here. It’s advertised as having full kitchens, but not every room actually is. The rooms and amenities in the rooms are shoddy or in disrepair. While the staff will work with you to resolve issues you’ll have to ask 3-4 times before it actually gets done. Myself and other coworkers have had issues with toilets, rooms without water, TVs that don’t work, dishwashers that won’t clean, broken toasters, garbage disposals that don’t work and other, albeit small, but annoying issues. For those who stay for long periods of time and opt for house keeping every 7 days, you’ll need to double and probably triple check with the staff that they will actually do it. The kitchens are not well equipped so take an inventory of what you have as you may need to go get some basic things if you plan to cook your own meals. Internet is fine, gym is what you would expect and of course you’ll need quarters do your laundry. Hopefully management gets some training on how to actually manage a property like this or ask corporate for help so they can provide a better experience for others."
"Great hotel. The rooms are large with all the amenities you need for a enjoyable stay. Close to all the activities the SL valley has to offer. Plenty of choices to eat within walking distance. Nice relaxing pool and hot tub, with a nice morning breakfast."
"Cons: Pullout beds were filthy (this ruined our experience) Service not being provided (trash and towels) per staff they would be emptied/changed every other day. Pros: Breakfast sufficient 40 minutes to Solitude area We travel extensively; this was the most disgusting experience we’ve had. We booked two adjoining rooms for our family of five. The pullouts were so gross they were unusable. The hotel is pet-friendly and smells like it everywhere you go. The staff was kind but were not providing the services stated (trash and towels). While it’s disappointing to not have your room serviced daily, that has unfortunately become the norm. However, when you’re staying in an extended stay place, the trash and towels need to be done as promised."
"Very happy with my stay here, the suite was spacious, clean, and well put together. Super hot water for shower. Wifi was solid. Parking was easy and convenient. Their breakfast offering is great too; rotating hot items of eggs and proteins, cereals, bagels, yogurt, and a waffle maker. I found the bed was too hard but that's more a personal preference I think. Staff and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely visit again!"
