Lost Creek Apartments 4950 State Street, Murray, UT 84107

"I like these apartments, theres a couple things that I don't like but overall there good. The 2 little ponds ringed with plants have fish and one has a deck with chairs you can sit on. The area around the apartments is pretty walk-able, lots of restaurants, little shops, tattoo parlours, and just a little further away is Murray park and Costco. The things I don't like are as follows: 1. Laundry isn't free, it's in the same building as the office, mailroom and gym. It costs around $1.25 to use the washer or dryer once. 2. They use a lot of salt in the winter on the sidewalks. I understand not wanting ice but like seriously the sidewalks turn white from salt and it hurts dogs feet. 3. The stairs going up to the 2nd and 3rd floor apartments wobble going up and down and generally look like they could fall down soon. I saw a piece of the stairs fall down a few weeks ago 4. The air filters they use are MERV 1. That's literally like tissue paper or just hair strung across the cardboard frame. Like, I sell air filters for a living and you don't need the most expensive or highest MERV rated filter unless you have a lot of seasonal or pet allergies and in a city that has awful air quality in the winter a MERV 1 air filter won't do enough for anyone. Overall nice apartments, I like them much better then my previous apartments. Would recommend living here."

"My experience with Lost Creek Apartments after what is now going on 3 years has been mostly positive. I cannot rate it in relation to other apartment complexes as my rental experience has only consisted in the time I have been here. Prior to coming to Lost Creek I did do my due diligence which I recommend to anyone looking for a place to rent. What I found that is or may be different than most others are the following: 1. They do not charge extra fees and in many cases unadvertised fees, eg; parking fees, entertainment fees etc. What they quote is what you pay including the very fair move in fee. 2. Any maintenance issues are handled very professionally and in a timely manner. (Of which I have only had one) 3. The grounds are really nice and very well kept. 4. Management is very responsive in adequately handling any questions or concerns. In fairness to all others, I can only speak to the differences I observed in the fees and the conditions of the complexes I visited. What I found in most others in my initial search were some fees (in my opinion unreasonable) not found in their advertising. And at the end of the day, this monthly rent and fees here won the day for me. Good luck in your search"

"My spouse and I lived at this apartment complex for 4 years before moving across the country. It was our starter home and honestly a wonderful place to live. The staff were kind and understanding, the maintenance was always quick and comprehensive (and also extremely kind), and we managed to find an amazing community here. Want your security deposit back? Just keep the place clean and in good shape. Amazon lockers right in the mailroom made picking up packages super easy, and the location was great for what we needed. Thank you to Lost Creek for the memories and for being our first home!"

"We have lived at Lost Creek Apts for 1 1/2 years. It is really in a central location and EVERYTHING is within 1-2 miles. The office and maintenance staff are superior. We love that this is a dog friendly community, neighbors are very nice. THESE ARE ALL THE REASONS WHY LOST CREEK HAS A WAITING LIST! Attached is a photo of the view from Lost Creek! Amazing!"

"my first apartment and i never want to leave, im so glad i found this place!!! price is so amazing and affordable and its all you can wish for! neighbors are so welcoming and some even helped me when i moved in a couple months ago. maintenance responds same day and i never have worried about coming home late because of how safe the area is. you get a free parking spot under roofing and there also is a bunch of parking for visitors/extra cars! my apartment is so clean and honestly havent had any issues since ive moved in. this apartment complex is perfect and i never want to leave!!! lastly theres a free gym, a huge coy pond, and if you have a dog this is the place to live! theres a nice dog park on the complex where lots of dogs play together so your dog wont ever be lonely!! (the picture i took is only like 1/3 of the complex, this place is huge and love how it’s all connected! i love it :) )"
