"I was looking for a therapist but I found Terra Prince, at BlueTheory Counseling, a.k.a lighthouse in the dark. I first started seeing Terra for myself, in 2017, as I have multiple mental health diagnosis and a lifetime of dysfunction. I do not attach or engage easily so the daunting task, of finding a new therapist, was extremely anxiety and distress triggering...I'm talking core meltdown, universe colliding, earth shattering level. The moment I met Terra I knew she was going to challenge me (much needed), support me through the process of growth, and teach me the skills I was desperately seeking. Her authenticity, compassion, and non-judgemental personality extinguished my anxiety. I left my first session determined to do whatever necessary to continue being Terra's client. Dysfunction breeds dysfunction, in case you aren't in the know, and I was set on ending that familial pattern. I needed, not wanted, needed to ensure my daughters had healthy coping, distress tolerance, and conflict resolution skills; along with positive self image and empowerment. Terra began sessions with my daughters in 2018. My daughters are night and day different in personality, and their needs couldn't be more varied, yet Terra is able to relate well to both. My oldest daughter has intellectual and cognitive delays, Autism, and a few more sprinkles of other obstacles. To say she DETESTED therapy and that past efforts were VERY unproductive, is understated. Then, Terra happened. She loved Terra from the first session, just like myself and my youngest daughter. Then EMDR happened. Then healing started happening. I have such immense gratitude when I say we have all been gaining skills, finding ourselves and our voices, and healing within. Terra's ability to connect and engage, meet her clients where their at, and focus on the healing of self, rather than treating the disorders or diagnosis, is her gift...her miracle. I've literally had the most profound therapy experiences, in the last 3 years, than I ever have in the previous 25. I can say with my whole heart that Terra has been the most influential resource to the healing, and skill building, that our family needed."

"Jake has been amazing with my son. We can take our son in public now with out worrying about him having a melt down. Scheduling is all done online. It is super easy to set and cancel appointments. Because it’s not a traditional doctors office, there isn’t a dedicated receptionist, (the receptionist manages business suites) but they too are friendly, helpful and kind. Jake responds quickly to emails and voicemails when not in session. We love him!!!"

"Extremely unprofessional. Tried to schedule online for a new client intake visit and the soonest spot was 2+ months out so I called the office to see if my son could be seen sooner or added to a cancellation wait list because he was more desperate for help. The front desk gal said she can’t do anything except send me to the therapists voicemail or I could email him. When I asked for his email she said she didn’t know it but it would be on his voicemail. I left multiple messages and emailed with no response. After multiple attempts and weeks of waiting we gave up and sought the mental health visit elsewhere. I tried to call to cancel the appointment I had scheduled on-line (the one that was 2 months out) and the front desk lady said she couldn’t cancel it and would have to send me again to the voicemail. Mental health is generally sensitive in nature and requires someone who will be available and responsive. This provider came recommended and I was extremely disappointed in the lack of concern and follow through."
