"I lived here for 9 months (my whole lease), and it was a decent little apartment. Tiny kitchen and living room, but big bedroom. I thought it was great-- until it wasn't. See, they do utility bill-back, which is cool until it's not. Basically utilities are put in one lump for the whole complex and split evenly among the units. I was gone from the apartment for 2 months or so using very little utilities (fridge and a clock plugged in), but still had to pay over $100 per month in utilities due to the other units. The walls are also pretty darn thin. I could hear my neighbor's TV almost word for word, even though their TV wasn't near the shared wall. You can hear conversations out in the hallway very clearly as well. Privacy is an issue. I'm just glad I didn't live by any barking dogs, as I can only imagine how loud it would be then. The biggest disappointment was when I moved out. First, Reeder Asset Management didn't follow Utah Law AND violated their own lease by not refunding the deposit within 30 days. Second, BEWARE-- you can clean your whole apartment head to toe and make it spotless, but they'll still hire a cleaning company to clean and charge you $85. I spent SO MUCH TIME cleaning and stressing to make sure the place was spotless for nothing. Should have just not cleaned. Third, PLEASE change the batteries in the smoke detectors even if they don't need to be changed, otherwise they'll charge you ANOTHER $80 to have Service Depot change them. Not $8, but $80. I wish I listened to the people telling me not to rent from Reeder Asset Management. Please heed my words and save yourself a lot of grief."
