"The front desk was very helpful and polite he made sure I was satisfied with my room. This is an older building with a reputation but my room was clean with everything I needed very nice hotel I will happily stay at again"

"This motel made me and my family sick. We also did work for which we were paid under minimum wage which was agreed upon what was not agreed upon. Was the materials being out of our pocket at first to which we would be paid back and we never got paid back as well as we were given the express promise to move into one of the rooms after we renovated them and instead we were 86th and trespassed out the property. Bad business practices, they will employ people that stay there under the table, and are rude as well as the main building. Structurally does not seem like it's up to code. I'm not just saying things bad about this place because they did us wrong. I'm saying things bad about this place because I wish we would have never stayed there. My parents health as well as mine has deteriorated ever since and as we were living there I determine the problem to be The motel itself."

"Small rooms $440 a week , no cleaning service at all , did not honor the transient occupancy state of Utah tax exemption after 30 days and I will claim it all with my taxes , they like you to pay cash if not the charge you $16 bucks extra if you use your debit card."

"This was a nice low key place to stay with kids. Some hotels you stay at are super stressful since you have to worry about your kid scratching an overpriced piece of furniture. This wasn’t like that. You do need to remember to turn the fridge on, there’s a switch to adjust the temperature on the inside. The people in the office are nice. There’s a laundromat really close and a little caesars next door with their $5 pizzas. If you forgot a jacket, there’s a Deseret Industries across the street with inexpensive clothes. It’s great!"

"When you stay at the cheapest place you can find, you go without certain amenities, and that should be expected. But, what should never be sanctioned or acceptable is the feeling of danger or shady activity. Such is the case with Galaxie Motel. It is apparent that many of the people at this motel live there. There is stuff laying around, and whenever you get a peek into one of their rooms, you can definitely tell they are not just overnight guests. What is more, these people loiter late into the night with their pitbulls, and eye you down whenever you walk past. Not very comforting. No continental breakfast, no coffee maker, bedsheets are thin, not even disposable cups or an ice or vending machine, and the room is starting to fall into disrepair. But this all to be expected at this rate. However, this motel does have some redemptive qualities. The beds were big, the room was clean, and came equipped with a microwave and a mini fridge. In lieu of a continental breakfast, you get 10% off at J&D's next door, which was an exceptional experience."
