"Not at all based in fact or science and can't be trusted to care for women's health- I was looking into clinics to review options re someone's pregnancy. Found their website and reviewed all their information. Looking at their information on abortion, it's definitely not un-biased as they only cite negative information on the subject. But I was curious about their references to adverse mental health after abortion so I looked at the medical research they cited. None of the sources they cited actually confirm what their website says, in fact, the results of a few studies that Hope Pregnancy referenced said the OPPOSITE, that there is zero evidence to suggest that women who give birth have better mental health than those who get abortions. They expect you to see that they cited sources, trust them, and look no further. I also know that statistically, abortion is very safe yet they use fear-mongering to tell you about "significant complications" and "distress" which again had no solid comparative research to back this, particularly when comparing against the much much riskier childbirth. This is incredibly unethical and I can't believe they are permitted to offer an sort of counselling as they clearly care more about their religious and personal beliefs than science/medicine. They are definitely not a real clinic and you are better off seeking out OBGYNs for accurate information about your health/pregnancy. I would never trust an organization using such shady tactics to prioritize my health or my wishes, regardless of what I choose. Please seek out an actual clinic instead."
