"My experience with Equinox wasn't a good one. I was paired with Lynn and well, lets just say that I didn't feel like my money was in good hands. From the beginning the first thing I noticed was that their application was outdated and difficult to use. They also didn't have any instructional videos to guide you on how to use it. I was told that I would get a phone call from different people when I first signed up but six months into my Equinox subscription I realized those phone calls would never come. After they signed me up hook, line and sinker, I never heard from them again. So any communication I had with them was because I called them. Whenever I did manage to get Lynn on the phone she would all ways try to rush me off the phone. One good thing came out of Equinox but not without any problems. I paid them a hefty fee to set up my LLC and a guy named Colton set it up. I thought everything was fine untill I reviewed the paperwork. They completely messed up the address on my LLC. When I called Lynn to tell her about what had happened, all she could do was blame me as if I didn't know my own address. I then asked them to fix it which is where I was told to fix it myself. I had to then travel to my state of residence to get it fixed at my local Tax office. I know accidents happen and I would even be willing to accept the long shot possibility that I made the mistake until I read other reviews that stated the same exact thing happened to them. I'm all about second chances so I decided to move on from my Initial impression of Equinox and the crew and even went as far as to travel to Utah to meet Lynn in person to see if then I would get a more humane treatment. She actually was quite pleasant in person and she even sat with me for an hour which was a surprise to me since she doesn't seem to have two minutes on the phone. I understand that it's easier to rush you off the phone than tell you to go away but she did give me the time. We talked about a few things and I'm pretty sure she could of said these things to me over the phone but was too busy to do so. I also mentioned to her that I was sure I was missing quite a few receipts on my profit and loss statement. I left feeling as if maybe things would improve but when I got around to checking my profit and loss statement I realized that the problem was much bigger than I originally thought. I was missing so many receipts that I knew for sure at that point that I just couldn't trust Equinox with my business. I then emailed Lynn to cancel my account which she couldn't have been happier to do so since it probably means less work for her. The fact that she was able to cancel my account and not some cancellation department or someone above her that would try to keep your business tells me that this company's main focus is on the money They get from you, not what they can do for you and I personally can't do business with a company like that... "I hired Equinox as a last minute move. I needed a bookkeeper and needed one fast. Equinox took our company right away and their pricing was very comparable to the others I had looked at. It is 2 years now and I won’t go anywhere else. Everyone I have spoken with at Equinox makes time for our company. I have never felt rushed or 2nd rate. If I have questions or need some work done with our company, Equinox is my team. They are also teamed up with ADP, the payroll company. I hired them as well for our company and am very comfortable with the entire team we have. I know that there are other companies out there that do the same thing that Equinox does, but I won’t leave here at all. Why tell my story to someone else and start over when Equinox does a superb job for me for the same price?
