"I want to start off by saying I get that the train crossings are in place for a reason and I get that people have a job to do what confuses me is that they choose to do that job at the busiest times of the day morning and evening Rush Hour seem to be the only times that these trains run. I don't know if the owner of the company is vindictive because of the bad reviews left for his rail company but there has to be a better time to operate the trains then during rush hour I have been sitting and waiting for 30 minutes now at the 24th Street on ramp just waiting to turn left I have time constraints on my schedule after work. I have to get my kids from their after school care by 6. If I don't I get fined 5 dollars every minute I am late. Operating the trains at the busiest time for road traffic seems like a bad way to structure your business. Not to mention the train just keeps going back and forth with out adding or removing any train cars. It some how feels blatantly intentional."
"The company as a whole could be good, but I spend 85% of my mornings and afternoons waiting for trains to clear the crossing. If you have a line of vehicles that have been waiting for over 30 minutes, (3+ days a week, multiple times a day) it's time to be courteous and let some cars through the intersection. People can only wait so long before they begin to dislike a company for wasting their time and getting angry. Someone PLEASE fix this! *UPDATE: 57 minutes was the total time I was waiting today."
"2550 railroad strikes again! Think about other people. I know you have a job to do but do it and get out of the way. Figure out how to do your job and not hold up traffic for 45 minutes."
"Currently sitting at the new crossing arms on 2550 s in Ogden. They have been down for over 20 minutes. No trains. So I figured while I waited I would leave a review. The new arms are not cool. We use to be able to get by the trains when they just barely cleared the road. Now that can't happen. Update: 2 weeks later the conductor apparently read my review, yes, I think that highly of myself, because he split the train and left half of it where the crossing arms were down and left back to the yard to get more cars. 45 minutes it was this way. No train. The road way was clear. But the train operator left the car so the arms stayed down. He could have pushed it 30 more feet to turn them off and let traffic through."
"As The Owner of the Railroad, I want to say thanks for all the hard work and sacrifices from all who are charging those terrorist who wish to derail my train.."
