"We love Dr. Goodwin! I have 6 kids ages 18 months to 13 years and they all like her. She helps the children feel at ease and it is clear that she truly cares about each of them. Dr. Goodwin takes the time to listen to me and thoroughly examine my children. I appreciate that we don't wait in a waiting room full of sick kids when we visit. Shortly after check in we are taken to an exam room- although my kids love the movie and aquarium in the waiting room and they wouldn't mind spending more time there! I also really appreciate that there is a well-child waiting room off of the main waiting room for well children and their parents when we are just visiting the office for healthy checkups. I am so impressed by Dr. Goodwin's experience and knowledge; I have full confidence in her. With one of my children she recommended we see an orthopedic specialist over something that just didn't seem right to her. The orthopedic specialist told me how impressed he was that our pediatrician noticed that there was a slight curve in my son's spine. It is something that he said most pediatricians don't pick up on. Because of Dr. Goodwin's knowledge and careful exam we were able to detect a small problem at a much younger age and start correcting it before it became a large problem. Over the last 13 years I have seen each of the pediatricians and N.P.s at Southpoint Pediatrics because my kids have been sick on a day that we could not get in to see Dr. Goodwin and I have been equally impressed with each of them. This is a fantastic group of Doctors and staff, I cannot recommend enough!"
