"My husband and I first came into contact with Baranof in 2021 by pure chance, and we have been so pleased with every interaction we have had. We are both in customer service and, after our interaction with Tom, we decided this would be our “jeweler” regardless of our home location in Texas. It was such a memorable experience as we *unexpectedly* redesigned my engagement ring to fit me perfectly! Since then, they have always been prompt in responding, and are quick to stand behind their products. I have needed some repair work to my ring (admittedly probably a little rough with it), and there has never been a question on getting it shipped out, fixed, and turned back around to me as soon as possible - including a handwritten note of gratitude! I was disappointed to see a negative review. In our business, it’s always best to remember that there are always two sides to every story - or at least a little more background to consider. "An engagement celebration saved! What do you do when the custom-made engagement ring does not come out well and you have only a few days before the proposal date? You go to Tony at Baranof in Park City. Friendly, professional, caring craftsmen does not come close to describing the service, the attention, and the excellent product. And to have the ring remade the way it was supposed to be in record time (who can make an intricate ring in five days) is amazing. So happy with the owner, staff, atmosphere, and product that I'm making a list of custom jewelry I would like to have. An amazing shop with people who genuinely care about creating memories"

"Baranof went $1000 over budget on our custom engagement ring without ever communicating with us. They regularly ignored our calls and didn't return our texts and voicemails. Multiple times, when I called for updates, the call taker would say "I'll investigate and I promise to call you back by the end of the day"; they never did. They sized my fiancee three times for her ring and still produced a final product that was a full size too small. We were promised about 8 dates of completion that weren't hit- at one point, two and a half weeks turned into over two months. Twice, we were told the ring was done and went in to pick it up, only to find out no one knew what we were talking about. I could go on (as I documented literally every interaction with them), but unfortunately Google has a character limit. Check out my full review on Tripadvisor. I'm absolutely disgusted at the complete lack of professionalism displayed by all of the individuals in this store- namely Tony and Tom. Based on the other reviews, it seems that our experience was not normal and has made me and my fiancee feel as if were singled out to be treated horribly. I would recommend to all to avoid Baranof Jewelers and take your business elsewhere."

The owner Tony spent a lot of time patiently working with us to create the perfect rings, and turned our ideas into reality. The entire staff at Baranof were friendly and helpful.
