"The Employees were trying to pressure a young girl (maybe 10 years old) who’s ears were already pierced to get more piercings in her ear. She told them NO (multiple times) that she didn’t want them pierced and the employees wouldn’t stop showing her their ears and that they have multiple piercings trying to persuade her. That is absolutely sickening! It’s a life choice. You wouldn’t give someone a tattoo that they weren’t sure they wanted and it’s the same with a piercing. They needed to just leave the child alone. This place should be closed down if that’s how they choose to operate. The employees should be ashamed of themselves! It’s one thing if it’s the mother (which I’m still against) but an other when employees who should know to act more professional to try to persuade a young girl like that"

"Ok I feel bad saying this cause I have gone to Clair’s many times mefor when I was younger but yesterday and today their website says they are open I went and they were closed and no employees to be seen and no sign saying why they were we called and there was no voicmail, I went to hopefully get my seconds and third done but I couldn’t cause they were closed I’m still hoping to go tomorrow. I hope it is just because of short staff."

"Went in to have one of my ears re-pierced in August. The girl was very nice and did a fair job. The earring was hard to sleep with but I managed to get through the month cleaning and enduring the discomfort. I couldn’t wait to take it out. I waited a few weeks to put another earring in, but my ear had already closed up. I went back in and let them know about the problem, only to find out I was supposed to put another earring back in immediately. I told the girl my ears were sensitive and it was too tender to put another earring in. The assistant manager said I would have to pay the full amount again. Now I realize I should have thoroughly read the pink sheet, but I also believe it would have been nice for the salesgirl to let me know I needed to keep another earring in for a year afterwards. I would have spent more money to get an earring that didn’t poke my head when I laid down. I still want to try again, but I won’t be going back to Claire’s. A wasted $45.00."

"The young lady who pierced my ears today was helpful, gentle, and professional. She appeared to be working alone and managed a crowded store with grace and ease. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to get their ears pierced!"
