"I was stood up two days in a row when expecting them to come to an appointment. Each day I’d call and make an appointment for the next day. They’d say the plumber would call the next morning to arrange a time. After noon I’d call to check up, only to be told they’d be there soon -they were just finishing up an appointment. Hours went by, I have places to be, and am still waiting on them. When I called they said I’d be the first on their list today (the next business day), and that the plumbers had been caught in meetings all day. When calling other companies, there was a wait, so I said fine, even though I had zero confidence that they would keep that appointment. They called this morning within the arranged timeframe to tell me they’d be there within the hour. Ten minutes later, I get a call from the scheduler apologizing that that plumber is actually out today and I’d be switched to someone else later in the day. I said I’d be canceling my appointment and was very unhappy with the service so far. She offered to waive half (maybe? She was very unclear) of the appointment fee, blaming the issues on a new phone or scheduling system. I doubted they would actually be coming and she was quite offended and defensive when I expressed that concern (based on two full days of waiting, and another cancelled appt). My Buddy the Plumber contracts through Same Day Heating and Air, and they handled all these calls."

"I was very pleased with My Buddy the Plumber. Robert, the technician who drove all the way down from Ogden to our place in Provo, arrived at exactly the time promised and was so pleasant. He did exactly what I wanted: he provided a temporary fix for our outdoor antifreeze faucet that made a terrible, loud, vibrating noise every time we turned the faucet on. We had two identical faucets -- and simply exchanging the stem between them solved the vibration problem. Being a DIY-er, I wanted to save money by completing the repair later by myself, which I was able to do for both faucets. I would gladly recommend My Buddy for plumbing repairs!"

"My Buddy the Plumber is awesome. We had a water line to our apartment building break during construction in the parking lot. My Buddy the Plumber came promptly after we called them and explained the situation. They gave us a very reasonable priced quote within an hour or two of visiting the site. They were able to come the next day and said they would have the water back on so the tenants wouldn’t have to go without water for very long, when other companies told us we’d be out of water for a week or more. Really good plumbing company that we will definitely use again in the future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!"

"We are very dissatisfied with this company. The original man that came to give us the quote on a remodel made it sound like he would do the work and sounded very competent. He was the one who received all of the information from us and what we really wanted. The company then they sent other people to come and do the work. They did not receive all of our instructions and they took advantage of my elderly father and pressured him in to doing way more work than we had originally said we wanted done and charged us 2x the value of a shower pan that we didn't want in the first place and was the wrong size. We specifically told the original quoter AS WELL AS the men who came to work that the job would need to pass city inspection. The work they did was not able to perform the inspection task. So, after paying for everything, the job wouldn't pass inspection and they and they sent a different person to follow up who is now having to figure out how to clean up after the other in order to get it to pass. He really tried to do what he can to make sure it passed and we were satisfied. We appreciate his efforts to clean up. However, overall, we are very disappointed by the dishonesty in the presentation of what they could/would do and what happened and how much we paid (way over what we had anticipated and what was originally quoted and we had said we wanted done). We would never go to My Buddy the Plumber again and we would never recommend it to anyone."
