"If you are using this on new wood you may not have the problem I have had unless you apply too much. Do not use it on previous stained wood. It will cause shiny spots that are impossible to get off. It does not absorb or dry evenly. The manufacturer really accepts no responsibility for this either and has no warranty or guarantee for their product should this happen.. It has cost me hundreds of dollars and a weeks worth of time to try and even this out with lacquer thinner. Mineral spirits does nothing. It takes alot of work to get it to where most of the shiny spots dissappear. What was a beautiful redwood deck is now a sad looking deck. Very disappointed in this product. As an Architect I will never use or specify this product on any project."
