Krispy Kreme

"I called the store in the morning and asked an employee if our local Girl Scout troop could come later in the evening and ask some questions while watching the donuts being made (if it wasn't busy of course). I was told this would be completely fine but that it would be a different crew and to just let them know that I talked to Sienna about it in the morning. We got there at 6pm and I spoke with the manager while the girls were watching through the window. There wasn't a single customer in the store and I asked her if they would have a free minute or two to just talk to the girls about working at Krispy Kreme and any little things they'd like to share about making donuts, or even just humor the girls to ask a couple questions.. etc. She seemed really annoyed with me right off the bat, and said "no sorry we're really busy." I looked around the store again and said.. "there's no one here..?" She shook her head and said they were just too busy. As a business that does fundraising for schools/clubs/sports, I found this to be really frustrating that not one of the 7 or 8 employees standing around in the back couldn't take a second to talk to a Girl Scout troop or even give me a legitimate reason why. I wish we had gone to a different location, because it seemed like the workers were all pretty nice, but the manager was really off-putting and dismissive. I spent over $70 on donuts and drinks while we were there. I also noticed a binder up at the front desk that was titled "Visitor Sign-In Sheet", so it appears they have people and small groups come through and probably have some kind of process/protocol for them. But none of that was offered to my troop. Thanks for nothing."

"I absolutely love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The cream filling are my favorite. My wife loves the glazed. So happy that there’s a new location next to me. The gentleman that first started helping me was very polite respectful, great customer service. When a tall female manager came over she didn’t greet me she didn’t thank me. Poor customer service. It could’ve been that she wasn’t happy that I was doing a Google reviews and taking photos of the facility. But who really knows."
