"I seriously don’t know why Layton Dutch bros have 2-3 star reviews on their most recent ones.. I have been coming here since they’ve opened the Layton location. I also have been going to other locations like riverdale, centerville, salt lake, and now clearfield and literally no Dutch bros compared to the Layton Dutch bros. Yes they do get busy but I’d rather be sitting in that busy line than going to any other shops. This is my home shop. I can choose to go to any other but I’d rather go to Layton. Kayla, Makayla, Colton, West and ALL of the other Dutch employees that run Layton,… THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY!! You all are truly wonderful people it’s always a joy to see all of you regardless of you have an upset customer all of you still manage to smile and keep your composure and still keep that line going. Kayla!!! Please open up your own shop. You deserve it!! I have never seen a coffee shop that still have loyal employees from day one and yet here you are running the biggest and longest line in Utah. Your employees truly are happy to be working with you and you can see it. Makayla.. you need a vacation.. Colton.. keep that smile going West.. start wearing jackets on cold days"
"Not a fan of the drinks. I believe they are well made, but they just aren’t my cup of…. Coffee. Too milkshake tasting and everything I’ve tried all tastes very similar. Service is great, maybe a little too great with the chit chat they are required to make while they prepare your drinks. But a lot of people probably appreciate that."
"The gals on December 4th during the evening need to be retrained in food safety prep. My pregnant wife got a white mocha, left a tip and went to the Layton light festival. At the festival my wife almost spit out the mocha and asked me to taste it. It tasted to my knowledge of curdled milk. We went all the way back to DB to explain our experience. The barista there said they got a new distributor milk order in and said the whole week people were complaining the milk drinks tasted bad, but reassured us it was non expired milk. I explained to the young barista that even with non expiring milk it can go bad when not cooled properly. She said as customer satisfaction she would give us a new drink and extra dutch brothers points ( total points were 3 added)! She came out of the window with a brown milk carton and said this was the “bad tasting milk” but pointed to a 2024 expiration proudly. She was serving inproperly cooled milk, I have never tasted properly refrigerated milk like that Ever. I am glad I tipped them extra for that experience. Will be going to Daily Raise from now on, DB is going down hill. Terrible drinks and experience"
"I do not recommend going to the Layton Dutch Bros! They literally filled our drinks with 90% ice and 10% drink. The cup was full of ice! I gave 2 stars though because the workers were very nice."
"The best place I have even been. The drinks are fantastic. The workers are just the best. Always so kind and helpful. Has a fantastic atmosphere as well. If I could give them 100 stars I would! The pup-cups are adorable"
