"Highly recommended. I have been curious about neurofeedback for years and after searching through my options landed on trying Dr. Hammond out for a consultation. He runs a Quantitative EEG in the second session to compare your brainwaves to a database of thousands of others and show where you deviate from normal. From there he comes up with a treatment plan to address any issues the QEEG uncovers. I highly recommend Dr. Hammond's neurofeedback work and have sent some family his way already. Dr. Hammond did research on neurofeedback for decades and if you search his name you find dozens of papers he published in the medical field. His website also features some his papers. Scheduling can be a challenge because he only takes clients Monday through Wednesday at the moment. However, I think it is worth the calendaring complications."

"I went to Dr Hammond for longstanding anxiety, insomnia, and focus problems. Unfortunately, I didn't notice any changes after three months and spending almost $3000. His lack of concern really bothered me. It was apparent he wasn't concerned about my lack of results, and he was willing to just let me keep spending thousands of dollars even if it wasn't working. The good news is that after quitting there, I went to a nutritionist who ordered a microbiome test and found that I don't have enough GABA microbes in my gut. With supplements I noticed an immediate, drastic reduction in anxiety and improvement in sleep. One thing you have to watch out for with these "experts" is that "when you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail." I'm sure Dr Hammond helps a lot of people, but neurofeedback apparently doesn't help everyone. I was very disappointed with his lack of concern and poor bedside manner. He got really punitive and even manipulative when I would complain that it wasn't working. If you're looking at neurofeedback, I recommend looking into other practitioners before Dr Hammond for these reasons. Find someone who is more open-minded and humble.
