"I would not recommend this place nor because of Susan she is amazing. The person who does the billing does not know how to properly handle claims or even submit them to your insurance company. You go and hear nothing of any issues then 6 months later you get bill. Because Wendy never submitted them to your insurance at the time of service. So if you do go if you can speak to someone in person or over phone not by text. Make sure you get a bill each time for your set and I recommend you submit the claim as Wendy will not."
"phenomenal experience and helped with rehabilitation"
"I've tried to think of every reason why I shouldn't write this. I don't want to do any harm to Choices for Change, but I feel like I need to warn anyone looking for help from counseling like I was. It takes a lot of courage to admit you need help and my experience with Susan set me back. I have met with counselors for a long time in Salt Lake County, having moved to Tooele County I was in need of a new one. Consider first that everyone has different needs when seeing a counselor, and I'm willing to consider that Susan might just have been the wrong fit for me. Things I didn't like: 1. She did more talking than listening. I could barely get a word in! I didn't feel at all like she understood me or my story. She told me many of her therapy tricks without taking the time to find out what I needed. Just a general diagnosis and remedy that I feel was memorized and probably applied to all of her patients. No real effort to understand my history. 2. When I arrived early to her office there was no one there to greet me or hand me paperwork. Luckily I had printed out the papers online. She eventually walked in the door right on time (most likely coming back from lunch). But it all just seemed unprofessional. 3. I needed help with Anxiety, Relationship issues, and Addiction. I don't believe her style would have been very helpful for me based on my 1 hour with her. Honestly, I left her office feeling pretty frustrated."
"Susan is a great counselor and I would recommend her to anyone who is having situational depression, anxiety, or marital depression or suffering losses."
