"Jody was nice enough but I went in for an appointment, only to find out there was a communication error. Sat there for 20 minutes until I left. I sent a message saying I was here at 259 left at 320. Not sure if I had an appt or if it was cancelled. I missed her call and she then sent a message “I’so sorry I mixed things up. I understand your reasons for discontinuing services. If you wish I would provide referrals…..” same basic message was sent to my husband. She then proceeded to charge us for the 2 sessions the next week sessions after she terminated the counseling. My husband never got a reminder for his appt, I did and immediately called and told her I was not coming."

"I don't even know where to begin with this experience. In a nut shell she lied about being in network with my insurance, argued and raised her voice at me for 20 minutes when I told her about it and told me how I was wrong and she knows what she's doing. She got paid for a claim by my insurance and refused to refund me the amount owed until a month later when my credit card company had an open dispute. She threatened me with a lawyer several times and refused to take my credit card off of her records in case she incurred any fees from a dispute that was only opened because she didn't pay me in a timely manner (38 days). She didn't communicate with me or even follow up unless I reached out and eventually she ignored my messages, which is why I opened the credit card dispute. Jodi is incredibly unprofessional, doesn't follow through with agreements, and seems to only care about the bottom line and herself. She was a nightmare to work with and eventually she did pay me the funds owed, but it did take over a month and her being horrible and trying to scare me out of filing a claim with my bank by threating a lawyer. I truly don't understand how someone who has just opened their own practice can behave this way. I know a lot about insurance and that's the only reason I really think I was able to catch what happened and if I hadn't pushed I would have been out $170 for something that should have cost me $0. I do not recommend her. She is an average therapist at best, but the nightmare and stress of her having access to your credit card and refusing to remove it because she only cares about her bottom line all while threatening to have her attorney involved is not worth the anxiety and stress that ensued."
