"She all but destroyed my four thousand dollar wedding dress. Unfortunate I have to give even one star. When I took my dress in, she told me she would remove the appliqué flowers, and reapply them higher as I was having the bottom hemmed. Instead, she CUT through the flowers. It looks like a freaking wave because she tried to cut around some of them. No phone call or text asking if I was ok with that or giving other options. The bottom is completely uneven and looks like my 8yr old did it. The hem lines don’t match up, there were strings and pieces of cut fabric hanging from the bottom. The pictures don’t depict how horrible of a job it really is. I tried to be nice and deal with this personally without posting a bad review. She had the audacity to ask me to bring my dress to her and have her fix it. She said I have “two options” excuse me? I could either bring it back to her or pay someone else to fix it. Ummmm no way. She had the opportunity to do it right the first time. She said “mistakes” happen. This wasn’t a mistake. It was a lack of knowledge, ability, and care. I would never use or recommend her to anyone."

"I contacted Jay to do a simply hem for my wedding dress. After her having my dress for 3 weeks I reached out to confirm the pickup date. After 3 days of no reply to my texts, I attempted to call. No answer so I left a vmail. After a week of no response, I called again to which she finally answered. Multiple excuses were given about a delay, with no acknowledgment of unanswered texts and calls. When I finally received my dress, this is the quality I was given. The under layer is clearly longer in multiple areas, the stitching itself is falling out in multiple areas, and is a simple 1 line stitch (which is not a hemline stitch). The dress is also dirty and has some type of animal hair all over it. When this was brought to her attention, there was an offer to “fix this”, however no expression of apology was given. Please find someone else to alter your important items. Yes the prices are nice, but in this particular company, you truly get what you pay for. In my case, I will now be spending about $200 more than expected to have someone properly correct this work."

"Jay did rush alterations on my wedding dress, and managed to get everything done in 3 days before I left for my Mexico beach wedding. She did an amazing job and I was so happy with everything that she did!"

"Jay is amazing! She was able to squeeze my mom, sister and I in for in appointment within the same day of contacting me. She did such an awesome job, she was also quick. She was able to fix our dresses exactly how we wanted and she was honest. I love that she consulted options with us for my Mom’s dress rather than just do something to get paid, she took the time to listen and talk with us about what would be best. I will definitely be returning to her for any alterations my family and I may have from here on out. She really is the absolute best!"
