"never in my life have I ever been so angry at the existence of something. for starters these bells are on no schedule and go off just about whenever they feel like it, It could be 8:36pm and these things will just start randomly belting the entire soundtrack of lala land, before playing Come Come Ye Saints for the twelve time that day. This is also a hot spot for couples to do all kinds of pre mission fornications, so don’t come here if you intend to do some searching for inner peace. Until these stupid things dust off a copy of starships by Nikki Minaj I am whole heartily a proponent for their demolition and removal form campus."
"It’s nice so long as you don’t live right by it haha. They sometimes do hymns and even songs like the Harry Potter theme."
"Plays Come, Come Ye Saints on the hour, and is always playing some beautiful prelude before each devotional. Adds a spirit of reverence and peace to the campus."
"I wanted up just before the hour to see if I could hear the bells from right up close. I was not disappointed. Beautiful music. And a beautiful overlook of Brigham Young University too. I love that it is easily accessible and quietly exclusive at the same time."
"One of the underrated features of the BYU experience is listening to the Carillon Tower play at certain times of day. A friend of mine had access to it and showed us the tower where the carillon is--it is impressive and would take some skill to play."
