"While visiting Provo, this was a big highlight of my adventure. The village looks plucked out of the past and the volunteers there are so sweet. My friend and I really enjoyed walking around, taking pictures, and learning about the history!"
"This interesting, free historical park has costumed interpreters. There are free games and activities. It was a pleasant place to visit. Our young children were finished exploring in about 30 minutes but they had lots of questions and it definitely made them think. We have returned to Provo Pioneer Village for the autumn and Christmas festivals. The volunteers are wonderful and my family enjoys it every time. It is small and quiet but a lovely place to be."
"It was amazing to see the work and construction of each house and how well preserved it all was. Some objects were more than 100 years old! The experience was excellent. I would highly recommended it."
"There were several little houses to explore and a blacksmith on-site making spoons. Outhouses, us military wagons, several items depicting pioneer life, a schoolhouse complete with non electronic games. My kids not only got an education but thoroughly enjoyed it. They did a scavenger hunt and got butterscotch suxkers."
"This was actually really great. They gave out papers for a scavenger hunt. My kids were entertained the whole time! And they traded them in for suckers at the end. A lot of cool artifacts from the early settlers of Provo. Great place to take small kids."
