"While the dog park looked great and could've been an enjoyable experience, we didn't even get to go inside the gates. Two doodles (one solid gray, the other bi-colored) were aggressively trying to get through the fence at my 2 dogs just upon walking up to the gates. The woman just sat in her chair and hollered for her dogs that had ZERO recall. I went to Bicentennial and explained the situation to another park goer. They described the 2 dogs to a T and said those dogs are the reason they don't go there anymore. I wonder how many other folks have been discouraged to enter the park due to these 2 dogs, or made it inside and had an issue once inside the fence. The signs clearly state that aggressive dogs must be removed. I've had dogs my entire life, everything from hunting dogs, to working dogs, to just plain mutts, and all have been well trained. I definitely know what dog aggression looks like. These dogs were NOT trying to play or just friendly/excited barking. If I had ignorantly walked in the gates, my dogs would've been attacked. Shame on that owner! Train your ill mannered dogs!"
"We have been coming to this park for a couple years now and we love it!! Really grateful for the updates they have made like the concrete by the entrance where it used to get super muddy as well as the agility course. This has been a great place for us to go be out in public during COVID and be around people in the community while still being able to be spread out and socially distanced. We have never had any issues when visiting. The only thing to be aware of are those who bring intact males ... you're almost guaranteeing a fight or for someone to get bitten. Overall super fun and friendly environment!"
"I love this park, and so does my pup! There's a pretty big crowd around 5pm unless it's super cold. Even then, some owners still bring their pups in the snow! There's several regulars that come here and I always enjoy seeing them and their doggies. It's common courtesy to bring a water bowl and some extra water to share. You can bring your own chair since there's only a couple benches, but make sure it's not one you care too much about cause it may get marked."
