"So many compliments on my nails. They've never looked this good. This was the first time I've ever had acrylics, so that my be a given, but Mia was great and we'll definitely be back. Coming up on a year later and Tina is the only one allowed to touch my nails. I’m just loyal. I’d trust any of the women to do my nails. I still get compliments everywhere I go. Avoid Tony at all costs. All of the negative reviews Ivy's has received recently are due to him. He's going to have to be cut loose soon or, loyal or not, we're going to have to find a new place."
"Myself and my 2 daughters went here a couple weeks back. It was horrible. Don’t waste your money. It was my daughter’s 1st pedicure/manicure. They hardly even touched her feet. Painted them, sure. But then charged me a full pedicure price. We came home and I had to redo my youngest fingernails because such a poor job was done. The woman doing my other daughter was friendly and did a good job. The guy who did mine, Trimmed my toenails super short. I didn’t even want them trimmed, and he didn’t ask me. Then he didn’t trim the cuticle around my toenail. Truthfully the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Hardly worked on my feet. I was done in 18 minutes. Within days, my girls nail polish started chipping off. All around is was crazy expensive terrible. Customer service-terrible. Work/service provided-terrible. Price-terrible"
"I have been to this salon twice. First time, all of my nails were different lengths and shapes. When I pointed out that the acrylic was bumpy and each nail looked different shaped he told me "not done yet". Within an hour I noticed how badly shaped and pited every nail was and two nails started lifting 2 days later. I went back for a fill and asked for a different employee. Hoping for a better result. NOPE! When I tell you she was RUDE it is a massive understatement. I showed photos of what I wanted (coffin shape) and she proceeded to file my nails almost into points. When I told her to stop, they were too narrow she blamed me. As she continued the nails looked like they all had different angles, even on the same nail. I pointed this out and she thrust the file at me and told ME to do it. Then she told my that there were other locations, further away, that I should go to instead. At that point I stopped trying. I almost cried right there. I just said yes that's fine to everything. I wanted nail art and classic white French tip on a few of my nails and color tips on the other nails. she painted the tips all the same color and put an ugly beige color on my nail to cover up the lifting rather than fixing it properly. She also filed my nails short to cover the shaping mistakes. she was so rude that I just wanted to leave. It was a fill and it cost almost as much as the original set, which had nail art etc. I still tipped her even leaving so disappointed and sad. I wish I hadn't. My nails hurt and I can feel the lifting on the same 2 nails."
"I love this nail salon place they have done my nails for so long now but recently I needed to get my acrylics filled because they where super out grown, they sat me down and this man started doing my nails I showed him the design that I wanted and he said “Obre?” And he sighed like he was annoyed I also wanted a flower in the ring finger and again he sighed in annoyance not to mention the acrylic is on my skin instead of my nails. That’s not the only thing he would finish a step like filling off the old nail polish and he’d get on his phone for a few minutes it wasn’t only once he did it the whole time and he still left some old nail polish on the nails"
"I went on a Sunday and was so happy Hot Tips was open! I’ve gone there twice and both times had a gel polish change. They have a vast amount of colors available, make it easy to book appointments online, nice, bright atmosphere, and have helpful professionals. Since I don’t have acrylic nails, I feel sometimes like I don’t have a big ticket request. However, they are always willing to do a polish change and treat all their customers well. I highly recommend Hot Tips Nails & Spa."
