Emergency Dental of Salt Lake City

"I was scheduled an appointment for 2:15pm for a simple chipped tooth and arrived on time and paid the $155 fee no problem. They moved my appointment to 2:45pm and said they were running behind schedule. I understood. They moved appointment again to 4pm but front desk girl with red hair never communicated it to me. Although I was a little bothered by the lack of communication, I was understanding. By the time I got seen, the dental assistant couldn’t remember what service I needed after I explained to her in detail I had chipped my tooth. She apologized and said she was exhausted so I explained again what help I needed. She then took the scans of my chipped tooth wrong and the dentist told her the scan was not useable and poor quality and instructed her to take them again. At this point The Director Jada came in the room staring me down looking upset so I asked the dental assistant if she was okay because she looked upset. Shortly after I asked this question, the assistant told me they were referring me to my general dentist and refused to fix my chipped tooth. I asked for my $155 fee back and the Director told me I had to speak to some group in Nebraska to get it back and proceeded to tell me what a terrible customer I am. She was offended that I asked if she was okay and then proceeded to talk down to me and tell me I was a terrible customer. She never once acknowledged the staff’s poor scanning skills, poor communication , scheduling issues and poor customer service behavior which caused my overall frustration. All this to say I wasted so much time for a simple procedure because of immature, rude, unqualified young staff that work as the Director and the front staff. And they lost almost $500 of business. Beyond their rudeness and terrible customer service , the female dentist was kind and professional."

"Dr. Nye was amazing and made my first time experience at Emergency Dental of Salt Lake City the best! I came in with some major pain and she gave me lots of relief after my appointment. Jada also was amazing to work with in the whole registration process as well as my cleaning! Highly recommend if you need that emergency care!"

"I had a nasty infection in a molar and contacted Emergency Dental. This was on a Sunday and I was able to get right in. Jada was very accommodating and kind. I met with Dr Nye and she was wonderful. She explained my problems, gave me ideas for a treatment plan and extracted my molar. Absolutely no pain…Dr Nye is great with anesthesia! Very kind and caring office. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is having problems!"

"Was extremely pleased with the quickness and availability of the office. Had issues with a bad wisdom tooth that had to be removed. Jada was quick to get us in on a Sunday, same day we called to inquire, and Naomi and Dr Nye made quick work of it. Price was actually quite reasonable and the pricing was clear and upfront. Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Definitely recommend even in a non emergency capacity."
