"Friend had an appointment all nicely set-up from over 6 months ago in anticipation that they would be leaving their job exactly a week after the appointment date-- walked away with the little reminder card with the date and everything. On the day of the appointment, they go in to discover that the hygeinist who booked the appointment actually-- uh-- DIDN'T BOOK IT. Nice. So now my friend is waltzing in there with a new appointment sometime down the road when their dental insurance is gone and no ability to reimburse anything out of pocket with their FSA account. No, there will not be a "we hope your experience will be exceptional next time" because unless Monarch Dental is also the insurance and FSA provider, there is no way to fix this. Just as a heads up to every one else who likes to book things months ahead of time: call and make sure your appointment exists, because I'm fairly certain this isn't the only appointment a certain hygienist has screwed up. EDIT: I love copy-pasta replies because you can literally paraphrase some of the other reviews that have been left here, such as, "Our time is as valuable as yours" so take some out of your own and just read through your own reviews because it takes less than 30s to figure out that there's a trend of administration f-ups at your office."

"Today was my first time at this Unprofessional shady “Dentist” office. Not going again! I should’ve read the reviews! Not only had I not been to a dentist in a very long time and this being my first time back to a dentist, no wonder I’m still traumatized! Terrible experience. Hygienist rudely reminded me that I have some of the worst gums ever, yeah pretty sure that’s why I’m here… said my breathe smelled, acted surprised I didn’t know..asked if a loved one ever mentioned it to me? When my breathe smells , I’m aware of that! It doesn’t unless you’re digging around.. besides the point… SO UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL. As she’s digging she says oh some puss.. I’m like yeah I came in because I have an INFECTION!!!! Anyways I could go on! So I asked about antibiotics for the infection and she says you’ll have to schedule a deep cleaning!! Umm yeah I’m aware of that, but I’ve got an INFECTION! Anyways left there with no antibiotics, infection still! You have to schedule a cleaning, 2 parts after the initial consultation and X-rays, like who does this? Don’t even get me started on the dentist! Not sure he even knew what he was talking about! I went in for the infection, gum, overall inspection and to talk about wisdom teeth! My wisdom teeth are cutting into my cheek and he said I have room and I could go on! This doesn’t even summarize half of what I experienced! What a joke to say the least! As for the gum infection I’m headed to the hospital tomorrow it’s so bad.. before I find somewhere to get my teeth cleaned! And to think I wanted to go to a dentist after as long as I have waited. Horrible"

"I used to like Monarch but the customer service has dropped over the past few years. Not once has anyone said my name right. Prices are actually on the high-end. I got quoted for two implants and they are around $2k more expensive than a different dental office. I have exhausted my patience and will move on."

"I waited 6 months for my initial appointment. After seeing the hygienist and dentist briefly, I was told that my visit did not include a cleaning and that the hygienist did not have time to do my cleaning later in the day, so I would need to schedule an additional appointment. When I called to schedule my initial visit, I was not told that I would need a separate appointment for my cleaning. I was instead told that the appointment would take up to 1.5 hours, which one would assume included a cleaning. Getting a half day off of work just to spend 30 minutes getting X-rays and being told to schedule a follow up for a cleaning certainly did not give me the best first impression!"

"My experience with Monarch on south temple was outstanding. Nice, organized office with helpful staff. The prices were clear and easy to understand. I am so happy I found the kind of dentist I had been looking for."
