"**WARNING TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS** Before considering booking any procedures at this dental office I HIGHLY suggest you look into their 1-star reviews. I am leaving a 5 star for now so this doesnt get buried, as it seems the employees here are leaving reviews for their own business under direction of the management. Please consider looking somewhere else, they will misquote you here and do everything to get you on their in-house dental plan and AVOID working with your insurer. The employees here either dont know how to send the right paperwork to the insurer or they are directed not to so that you end up paying out-of-pocket. Booking an appointment or following up on one with them is also hit and miss. The staff misses the phone calls half the time and hardly call back off the voicemail. The head dentist is friendly but there are better places to get your teeth done, I wouldnt trust this office."

"If you have dental insurance, I would stay far away from Horizon Dental. They are great to work with if you don't have insurance. I started going here in 2022 when I desperately needed to be seen for a tooth infection and had no insurance. I paid for the $125 membership since this was the cheapest and quickest dentist I could get into. Joshua Frandsen is great and explains what he is doing in great detail. However, now that I have insurance, they are a nightmare to deal with. I was quoted $900 for dental work I need to get done. The work has been started, but is proving to be almost 4x the amount they told me I would have to pay. I had been calling almost daily for a month just for them to send a pre authorization to my insurance to make sure they would cover what they should. They were supposed to send it on a Monday when the person who sends them got back into the office, I called that Monday three times, no answer. Tuesday three times, no answer. Wednesday twice, no answer, left a voicemail, finally got a call back saying they would speak with the lady who sends that info, and would call me back around 9 AM. I waited until 12 to get a call, no call back. I had to call AGAIN. They finally picked up and let me know it had JUST been sent, knowing it could take up to 30 days to get it back. Finally heard from my insurance this past Friday. They did not sent a pre authorization, they sent a pre treatment estimate, which is VERY different. I would have to pay over $5k out of pocket. No one in this day and age has that kind of money sitting around, nor is it possible to get that a WEEK before my procedure. I tried calling today to cancel my appointment, and to no one's surprise, they did not answer. If you want a dentist office to pick up the phone when you call, and not have to interrupt your work week to get detrimental health stuff figured out, do not go here. It has been such a waste of my time, and also very stressful trying to figure out time off from work and the actual pricing for any of my dental work I need done. You can get better and cheaper services elsewhere."

"I broke a tooth last night and when I called in late morning the amazing front desk ladies scheduled me for that afternoon. After being assesed, they were willing to set aside some time for me to get a quick filling. They did an amazing job, the assistant Brenda was able to get set up without notice very quickly and before I knew it I was finished and feeling whole again. The doctor and hygienist introduced themselves and were so professional and gave quality work, but I’m bad with names and wish I could mention them by name, but overall they have amazing staff."

They communicated clearly what course of action needed to be implemented step by step. Their knowledge and expertise put my mind at ease and gives me the confidence to continue with the proposed treatment plan. Every thing that they did communicated the message that they care, they will take care of me and help me manage and improve my oral health."
