Reviews of The Grand Canadian Theater
"We got married here last weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. Guest commented the whole night on how unique and beautiful the venue is. Gisella helped us through the whole process of planning. She is very experienced in the industry and has lot of great recommendations and suggestions. We used her decor package to decorate for the ceremony and reception and it turned out beautiful. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our special day."
"This venue is an elegant one-of- a-kind gem in Purcell, OK. This venue has so much to offer with its high ceilings, beautiful grand staircase and touches of beautiful mid century modern lighting. This venue also has two larges suites for the bride and groom. Gisela is the main planner, coordinator and owner with years of coordinating, styling and planning experience. Gisela offers a variety of very affordable packages and decor. She does full table scapes and color selecting to help you make your day cohesive and elegant. This is one of best venues in this state."
"If you’re looking for a venue with charm, history, and elegance look no further because you’ve found it at The Grand Canadian Theater. From the grand staircase that you can make your entrance down to the beautiful decor everything about this place is stunning. Not only is it stunning, but working with Gisela is a dream. G helps take care of everything, and your meetings with her to talk about design and decor options will leave you even more excited than you already were for your wedding. We loved having our reception at this venue (we were married at my childhood Church), and everyone we spoke with raved about how beautiful the venue was and how they had no clue it was here. Grand Canadian is the perfect distance from Norman in that it’s not a hard drive for your guests to make and you can easily get Ubers and Lyfts as needed. We loved our custom marquee over the entrance to the reception place, and my bridesmaids loved getting reading in the bridal suite the morning of wedding. I could go on all day about how helpful Gisela was, how comfortable and beautiful the bridal suite is, and how gorgeous the reception space was! Having our reception at Grand Canadian provided us with the elegant look we were going for, and allowed us to have an amazing party as well. I can’t recommend this venue enough!"
"We were here for a friend's wedding. The place is gorgeous on the inside. The street parking is quaint and convenient. The structure is old, but the inside is modern in a very tasteful way. The lighting throughout the hall was gorgeous. Plenty of space upstairs for seperate, private preparations by the wedding party. I tried to help with tables and chairs, but the gals had it all under control and asked me to stop. Amazing wood floors here have just enough creak to let you know they're old school. Be sure to ask about their sound system for music or speeches. They have wifi, too. My only negative here was the air conditioning. It may not have been set low enough, but the building was a tad warm during our event. I will absolutely recommend this to anyone I know getting married. This location is simply stunning."
"We came for a wedding on June 1, 2019. It was a beautiful place. I love the feel of it all. It was such a beautiful wedding. It would be better if there was a close hotel or rooms to rent in that area. But I definitely don’t hold it against this place."
