"Screens were pretty dark and hard to see. We liked it pretty good but if the second movie playing is not on the same screen that the early movie is on. they want you to pay again to switch to the other side. Not sure why that is lots of people leaving why not allow you to watch the second movie on the other side. instead of being stuck watching something you have already seen or dont care to watch. So you can watch two movies on one side with your ticket but can not use it to access the other screen makes no sense. If one ticket buys two movies out the four playing why not the two you want to see."
"Oh, so fun! $15 a car load for a double feature, pet friendly, lots of bathrooms, good snack bar with hot popcorn. Didnt have a problem with sound or the screen being too dark."
"Tulsa is lucky to have a drive-in theater, especially one as iconic as this one. This drive-in was featured in the movie "The Outsiders." Huge screen, friendly staff and great movies! I love your retro and Halloween series! Go support this Tulsa treasure!!"
"Very fun way to watch a movie & can even be romantic! I went to see Barbie & Mario. The concession was actually pretty nice! I had a hot dog & nachos which tasted much better than I thought they would. The screen however could of been better! I found that most of the dark scenes were impossible to see, and majority of Barbie felt blurry, dim, & the projector kept flickering.. however during Mario it got a little brighter but still felt like the projector needed an upgrade… the sounds quality is through radio & felt a little quiet but decent quality; however I kept hearing another station in the background so on quiet scenes it felt like a voice over lol… overall I still enjoyed the experience, just wish the projector & sound was a bit better"
"My hometown in Kansas had a drive-in movie theater until more recently so I grew up spending Friday nights there watching movies. My experience at the Admiral Twin brought back all the feelings and emotions of my childhood and youth. I enjoyed the experience so much! There are two screens at the Admiral Twin (one on each side) and two movies shown on each screen. It is very nice to have the option of which set of movies to watch. The drive-in theater also has a snack bar (more memories) that you can purchase food, snacks & beverages. I would recommend arriving early for the best possible view of the screen. If you like being further back an early arrival time isn’t as necessary. I loved my experience! The drive-in theater was exactly what I expected."
