Southwood Apartments

"The guy that now owns and renovated these apartments bought the building and kicked everyone who was living there out. Some people owed money while others did not. I received a unlawful eviction notice. When I moved out, my apartment was infested with cockroaches from the previous tenants and my floor was collapsing. The apartment beneath me had black mold. Not to mention, he says now that these apartments are safe because they’re gated, but while I lived there, people would sleep on the staircase, pee in the hallway, sunbath naked in the courtyard, scream on the street corners, dumpster dive, randomly knock at your apartment, steal tires from the parking lot, break the windows and doors of the apartments. Unless he’s hired a security guard there is absolutely no way these apartments are safe. Cochrane was exceptionally rude at every interaction that I had with him and now he’s trying to scam people by charging nearly $800 for an apartment that’s likely to fall apart if it doesn’t get broken into first."

"South apartment are infected with drugs roaches,rats, bed bugs,loud noise all the time, all you gets the runaround and lies, people asking drugs, people are being put in apartments,as is.when I texted the so called owner,there's no response,manager is no different from the others,is there any help for us who lives here. "As i speak i am living there and the apartment manager does not fix any thing in my apartment i need a light fixture out side and my tub knobs needs fixed cause i cant stop a drip and now there is a leak in my bathroom when the up stairs people lets their bath water out and she said she already knew about it but did not tell me when i moved in then i was gonna get me a dog and it says in my lease i can have one but she told me i could not but there are alot of the residents that has dogs or they have just gotten them and when i confront her she tells me to stop my bitching i have saved every text from her on all my phones she wont let me speak to the owner of the apartments she says thats what she is for so tomorrow afternoon im taking my lease and my phones to a lawyer she wants her rent but she don't want to fix anything so be it the only time i can get a hold of her is after hours but still she needs to fix the stuff that needs fixing love to hear all comments"

"i was very unhappy with the living arrangments, the conduct of the manager and his maintaince staff. upon leaving i left my apt. clean and requested my security deposit back and am still getting the runaround from the manager, Randy Nelson.. i am filing a complaint with the better business association."
