The Coffee Grinder

"My wife and I stopped in this morning, expecting a standard coffee shop. This was anything but the norm. The decor is eclectic art, which I love, mostly all for sale, with plenty of seating options aside from a normal table and chair. The place is very comfortable and inviting, with a TV showing nature shows. Drinks were a little pricey if grabbing to go, but Staff was friendly and we were digging the vibe, so didn't mind paying a little extra to be away from the corporate coffee norm. Come planning to sit and stay. Board games and books available for those who chose, or just a cool spot to sit and talk."

"I got a coffee and breakfast sandwich and they were both great! Even during the morning rush I was in and out in 10 minutes. You’re surrounded by amateur and professional art, which is so fun. A little pricey for small portions, but the staff is very friendly and it’s made up for in experience. Definitely want to come back for live music on Thursday!"

The coffee was epic, the atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, the staff was super cool, they're 420 friendly and it was just a really neat spot to stop, have a coffee and take a minute for yourself. "It was a nice day for a brisk walk at Haikey Creek Park. A little cool a little windy, but beats the 100-degree summer days. I had to bribe my wife to get her out on the trail. Today the bribe was a coffee at The Coffee Grinder in Jenks. This is a very nicely decorated shop with a relaxing atmosphere. Regular tables and chairs, stools, comfortable easy chairs and a couch. Colorful art work covers every wall. A small bakery and kitchen occupy a portion of the store. You can grab a stool and watch the activity through the glass window. My wife commented on the way home that she saw a blueberry something or other pastry, that may require a trip back. It appears to be a family operation. The very nice lady behind the counter made me a perfect Mocha. My wife ordered a hazelnut latte. What my wife and I both liked about the drinks was the smooth coffee and the right amount of flavoring. Neither drink was overloaded with syrup. We sat for a while enjoying the ambiance and sipped our coffees. Adjoining the coffee shop is DUTCH Dispensary. I just wanted to throw that information out there because you might see a “Roach,” if you know what I mean. You can enter the dispensary from the coffee shop, if you are in need of medication to counter and mellow the effect of the caffeine in the coffee. I am guessing that both stores are owned by the same folks that have the coffee shop. The very positive reviews on Google and Yelp document the many reviewers’ enjoyment of the coffee. The coffee is fantastic, but you do have to consider the fact that they may have gone to the dispensary first. It is a great coffee shop….try it. & that wraps up 2023 S.S."
