"Went into the store just to ask a question and spoke to the manager there. He knew I had no intention of purchasing anything and yet he was very helpful and took the time to answer my question. Noticed they had more than just pool maintenance supplies. I don’t own a pool and don’t need pool maintenance supplies, but will return if I need pool toys in the future!"
"Overpriced and very RUDE. I purchased all of my supplies from this location for many years. Purchased a new heater last year. Opening up the pool and my motor bearing is going out. Headed to Leslie's to buy a new Motor and Pump assembly about $900 plus chlorine and chemicals for the year another $500. As I was picking out the fittings I would need to install the new motor and pump I needed (3) 1 1/2 inch fittings to go from the new motor to current piping. They were $34.00 per fitting! I mentioned to the clerk this is definately a mislabeling but he insisted that is the correct pricing. I put the pump and motor back and put all of my chlorine and chemicles back and went to Home Depot and purchased the exact fittings. Pics attached for $2.60 per fitting. I know you always pay more at Leslies for the same than purchased elsewhere due to convince but this is outright gouging! I purchased my pump from Amazon for $400 cheaper and bought my chemicals and shock from Costco and saved another few hundred there. My business with Leslies is now longer."
"Disappointed with my last interaction at this location. The assistant manager Zach was so rude when we needed our water tested. Treated us like we were idiots for asking questions to the point we had to walk out. Do yourself a favor and buy from Amazon or Costco. Prices are about half the price of Leslie’s also. Lost a multi year customer today."
"Extremely disappointed with the online experience! I ordered a pool igniter online, and paid $35 extra for 2 day shipping. Apparently, they have a cut-off at 10am, but there is nothing during the order process to notify you about the cut-off. I found out after contacting customer service when my part didn't arrive in 2 days. A total bait and switch. After about an hour of arguing with several different customer service agents, I was finally granted a refund of the shipping fee. But for those ordering parts and paying for expedited shipping, beware!"
"I was bummed after I went in there today around 3pm. I needed a few things to get my new pool running. I wanted to get established with a pool store that was locally owned. I try to support small business whenever possible. When I went in, the girl at the counter was busy with another customer. I wandered around the store twice, passing another employee in the back corner both times. She didn't ask me if I needed help or even say "hello". Hopefully the owner can use this as a training/learning opportunity."
