Canyon Mountain Rentals

"We have rented from here for multiple ski trips over the past couple of years and always had good quality gear with the demo package. However, this time was different. The skis were beaten and had epoxy marks all over. The boots are not taken care of as well, and as the day goes on, they loosen immensly. Seemingly, many other people also reserved the demo package, which would cause such a supply issue. However, the quality of the gear even when we had a choice did not match the definition of "demo package." To be given 2-3 season old equipment when you expect newer equipment is highly disappointing. Overall, the staff was nice, but it was obvious that the care of the equipment is lackluster. If such problems continue, I would recommend renting elsewhere."

"The staff was very helpful and easy going. The manager on duty was very helpful. BUT the equipment was used and abused. It was definitely holdover from the previous season. If I pay for and reserve demo equipment I would expect to have decent equipment. I asked for something better and was told that’s all they have. The website says ‘latest premium skis’, this is far from the truth. Vail resorts you can do better!!!!"

"While we had a reservation we still waited in line for more than 1 hour to get fitted for our gear. Terrible organization and slowest system for fitting skiers. Then we got all the way to the light line and one ski binding was too big!!! Had to go all the way back to adjust. Do not recommend!"

"Overall good rental place with minimal wait time and nice staff. They had screwdrivers to fix snowboard bindings if needed. Selection of demos is somewhat limited but they upgraded a pair of performance skis for free for us on our last day of skiing. Cheaper to book in advance by at least 1 day. Also we didn’t know this as they didn’t tell us, but you can store your skis and boots next door nightly for free in the ski valet so you don’t have to walk with them each day."

"We rented our ski equipment from here and they did a good job with properly fitting us. They are also very helpful with fixing any issues that arise. There is a valet that will store your skis for you and lockers too. With an Epic pass, you get 20% of ski rentals and food at the canyons."
