"Probably 1 of 2 "go-to" hockey stores within striking distance of SLC proper, but by far the biggest. Plenty of room to roam and browse and it's organized well (I've been to other places where all gloves and elbow pads were thrown into a "bulk bin" and NOT arranged by sizing/model on peg boards). Excellent selection of equipment spanning from casual rec-level to high-performance gear. I didn't see women's pants/shoulder pads during my visit, though, but I know they're kinda rare. Also, I'm not a goalie, so I can't speak to that end. People working there are friendly and knowledgeable about the gear. Maybe it's the East Coaster/Canadian in me, but if you need help, be direct, go up to them, and ASK POLITELY instead of walking off in a passive-aggressive huff. Store employees are not your personal butlers, even if you are buying $1200 skates."

"My son recently got into Hockey and I know basically nothing about the sport. We’ve had two visits here and both have been amazing. The first time was to get his skates. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for getting your skates especially if you are new and don’t know the sizing. Secondly, I ordered some items online and when the sizes didn’t fit, I took him in store to get fitted. After buying his gear online and not being able to get a refund in store (and honestly among other things) I was a little tight on cash flow. Preston, who I believe is a/the manager, was amazing. I told him right away I needed to stay at the lower end of the budget. Preston was so great to work with, very knowledgeable in gear and sizes and overall you can tell he genuinely loves the sport and helped me get everything my son needed -as I was missing a few items. And got everything for an amazing price. If Preston sees this- thank you for your kindness and we wish you the best in your future endeavors."
