"WOW!! Talk about a hidden gem!! On my way to some place else, saw the sign for a state park that wasn't on the map. Great hiking and selenite crystals along with gypsum deposits ."
"Took advantage of a calm and cool day to climb to the top and was rewarded with a beautiful view for miles. The climb is steep in most places. The trail consists of a combination of metal steps, landscape timbers, and large rocks. I highly recommend a solid pair of closed toe shoes for this adventure. Trail is not handicap accessible."
"Really cool place to visit. Clean and expansive views from the top via a quick stair climb with resting benches along the way up. Restrooms available."
"If it wasn't so hot out when I went in mid October I would have walked further up the steps that lead to the top but it was still nice to see and learn how by a simple clerical error on a map it changed from Glass Mountains to Gloss Mountains just like that. It's also nice they leave bits of shimmery rocks in bins for you to take as a souvenir."
"Great free place to visit! Didn’t get to spend much time exploring since our main objective was an outdoor wedding, but was a beautiful sight to see! This park has a free parking lot located off the main road, outhouse style restrooms, and a pavilion with benches, and a few additional amenities. One of the main trails has railing and staircases all the way to the top. Would like to visit again."
