"When I first walked in I was absolutely amazed at the number of major key comics and grails they had for sale. I had never seen so many in one LCS. I quickly realized why... They were all priced WAY over FMV. All of these books were priced 25-40% more than FMV and the owner refused to negotiate on them. All of these books can be purchased in higher grade, or much lower price online without much trouble. If your looking for books at a fair price then save your time and money and go somewhere else. The few books that I did buy were even lower quality than I thought after I got them home and opened them up to inspect them."

"I’ve been coming to Comics Plus since they were located on Sunset Blvd. A lot of the negative reviews on here just don’t seem to add up. David (owner) has always been kind, helpful, and has fair prices. It seems like a lot of people don’t realize that he is deaf. It’s not that he is ignoring you or isn't personable, you need to face him when speaking so that he can read your lips. My boyfriend and I have been struggling to find Pokémon cards for his 10 year old daughter… Which is heartbreaking because she loves them so much and because adults are buying out all the cards without leaving any for kids. I also have a broken back and it’s one of the few things I can actually participate in with them. It’s been such a joy for us to be able to look at and buy Pokémon cards at Comics Plus. We never have to worry about her walking away disappointed and empty handed. David is always so patient when we have questions or when my boyfriends daughter pays for each card one at a time.
