"I tried to mitigate the chances of having to write a terrible review by contacting both the management at the hotel and the bonvoy app but much to my dismay nothing significant was done. We booked a room for five where the pull out was a a rickety single bed pull out with no bedding provided in tough shape. The bath has disgusting plastic film covering broken paint and obvious defect in the tub. Because we booked on a discounted rate we were told nothing could be done even though we paid almost $500 Canadian for one night to stay in basically motel quality. Although the view outdoors was great their pool was not working and many of their amenities as well with the toxic smell of repairs lingering in the atmosphere. The room was not properly sanitized and the waste bin has a disgusting stench of decay. I was offered $37 back and it almost would have been less insulting to receive no response back than a measly $37 back for this disgusting stay. Highly do not recommend. Camping outdoors likely better and more comfortable."
"This place was in the perfect location. The customer service is not great. We booked this place 3 months in advance for a two day trip with our 2 yrs old. We got the app to check in quickly around 10am. We arrived only to be told two house keepers called out and they would delay check in. They stuck us in room 244, which is directly next to the gym. Our room is the wall side of their free weights and we got absolutely zero rest because trying to sleep or nap with a toddler was impossible due to the noise of the gym. I talked to the front desk but they didn’t give any solutions. Checked out and Adam (assistant housekeeping manager) said he would contact us at a later time but did not. Please ensure no guests get room 244!!!"
"Fantastic location. The view from the lobby looking out to the Zion National Park mountains is awesome. We loved our stay here. Breakfast is great too! The view from the room was the national park and there is a balcony where you can go out to see the mountains too. They have a beautiful fireplace and seating area outside the lobby facing the mountains of Zion. Overall a great experience. We are looking forward to staying here in the future."
"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and the views from our room were fantastic. The breakfast was so tasty every morning and we liked that it was served for such a long period. We never went really early or really late but it's great to have the option. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Because we stayed early January our room wasn't very pricey and we used points for one of the nights so our final bill was extremely good for what we received. The only con I found was having to go down to get extra towels (only 3 initially in the room and we had 4 people), toilet paper, blanket/sheets for pull out sofa bed. I understand limited staff and not able to bring each item to everyone's room but maybe they should offer the towels and extra blanket/sheets to you at check in so you don't have to go back down to get them right after checking in. Overall a good experience and we would stay here again at or around the rate we paid."
"The hotel is quite nice. Only two floors and looks like a big cabin from the outside. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from whatever side your room is at. There’s daily breakfast. The shuttle bus stop to Zion National Park is just a few meters away. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only downside was it is a little more pricey than the other hotels outside Springdale."
