"Just don't bother sending an E-mail, ever. I've been following up for two months, both over the phone and with further E-mails, stating, "I'm trying to follow up on the below E-mail..." "I'm attempting again to follow up on the below E-mail..." No bueno. He recommended me to Dr. Baker for a root canal. Dr. Baker's wife, not Dr. Baker, recommended me elsewhere (Dr. Baker would never respond), because his wife (not he) recommended IV sedation for me, and Dr. Baker does not offer IV sedation. Oh, but it's 2-3 hours away and I can't drive for 24-48 hours after this kind of sedation. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and asked Dr. Baker (not his wife) for a game plan to prevent pain during the root canal, since this syndrome doesn't always do very well with typical anesthesia. He said he would look into it, but 'never' responded. After his non-response, his wife eventually recommended to go to this long-distance place for IV sedation instead, and then to be stuck there for awhile, in some motel or something, I guess? So, y'know, I needed advice from my trusted periodontist, Dr. Neale, between an overnight long-distance endodontist that Dr. Baker's wife recommended for IV sedation, or a local regular dentist who also offers IV sedation for root canals. Do I really need an endodontist? Is Dr. Baker really unable to find the right pain killer for me? I finally got a response today, but it's not in writing--it was yet another phone-in attempt. I am told to do what I want, he can't really help me. Thanks... I don't know what to do..."
