"I used to frequent this DI but now longer will. Today I heard a manager berate an older cashier because he explained that a customer showed him two identical items and they both were priced different she just asked if she could have the same price for both he gave it to her for the manage then came over and threw a tantrum and the customer said it’s fine I won’t by either and respectfully asked her to not talk to people that way. Second I frequent DI’s this is one of the dirtiest and prices are outrageous for example it is double all the other DI’s in the area and you guys got the items for free. The churches mission and Christ doesn’t alone with robbery a Walmart dress was her NWT for 14.95 the DI price tag said 20$. This is hilarious and I wish wasn’t a common occurrence but most items were more than retail . I feel bad for the workers here who cannot even afford the items. At the current price or with there tiny 20% discount Treat others How you want to be treated it’s simple . You lost me as a customer and when my friends ask I will steeer them far away from this DI"
"I love shopping at thrift stores. Recently I haven't been able to find as many weird, neat, little gems at thrifts but when I went on Saturday I hit the jackpot. I found a wolf pillowcase, an American flag shark jar thing, an old lady serving dish, about 25 matching biking jerseys, and this mug. 10/10 would shop at this DI again."
"The donation drop off has the meanest and rudest employees I ever have to deal with. But I understand that their employer is probably paying them below minimum wage, or they have been convinced to volunteer for free… with that in mind I understand where they are coming from. I understand when I go there, I am not going for their customer service. To anyone considering any business with Deseret Industries whether it’s donations or shopping tread lightly."
"Not as good as finds as other DIs but good otherwise. Cashier seemed unsure of themselves when we were asking some questions at checkout, but otherwise chill"
"Family and I come here when we are looking for specific items such as boys jeans, shorts, and boys collared shirts and pants for church. I love that this location is about a 5 minute drive from home. It’s a pretty big location! The clothing racks are pretty well organized according to color. We have also found some good footed pajamas for girls. For the kitchen, I feel you do have to come at the right time of the week to find treasures! I found glass mixing bowls and even a huge deep baking pan for the oven, hardly used! I also found a decent Dutch oven here that I gifted to a dear friend as I knew she never had one but wanted one. Also found some organizing bins of various sizes and also a pair of jean shorts for myself. Oh and also discovered a great well known brand back pack for girls so that was indeed a treasured find. We also donate most of our household items and clothing to this location as they have a drive thru drop off station. The employees are friendly too."
