"Took my motorcycle in to have the valve stem replaced. When I went to pick it up my front brake had stopped working. They "fixed" it and I was able to get home, several days later the brake stopped working again. Never had this problem with the bike untill I brought it into these guys. Turns out that instead of removing the tire like they should have to replace the stem they did it while it was on the bike! After asking several other bike mechanics about this they all gave the same answer, you have to remove the tire to replace the stem and that they messed up my brakes by not doing so."
