"Byrd did not build our pool and we've not had a prior relationship with them. We had an issue with our pool automation and it was suggested we contact them. After calling them they took my name and said their tech would call us and later that day he did! He walked me through the Pentair app and got it fixed over the phone. He saved us a service call and a service charge. He was very patient with my questions and got us going again. Thanks!!"
"Byrd Pool Repair came out and gave an estimate on repair of my pool heater and pump. Robert analyzed my situation and made same day repairs to my pump as well as a recommendation regarding my heater. Robert was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the repairs and absolutely recommend Byrd for swimming pool equipment repair. Five star performance!"
"Our pool pump stopped working over the weekend. After our home warranty couldn’t get anyone to help us, I called Byrd Pool Service. I explained our issue but they didn’t have a spot available for another week. I went ahead and scheduled with them because I just needed to get it fixed. I get a call the very next day saying they had a tech who was able to make room for me in his schedule that day! Brad was super professional and got our pump back working within minutes it seemed! They listened to my issues when I called to schedule and already had an idea of what was wrong and came prepared with the right parts to fix the pump. They totally made my day since our pool has given us so many issues. I will definitely be using Byrd from now on!"
"They don’t answer the phone during work hours. Tried to schedule “Pool School” with Byrd as a new pool owner. Couldn’t get a call back for days. Mr. Byrd showed up 30 minutes late. He noticed some issues with the pool and said he would send someone over the next day to fix it. That never happened. Never returned calls telling me when it would happen. I ended up fixing it myself. I tried contacting him multiple times to get on a regular service plan. He never responded. Two summer months have passed and obviously Byrd has too much business for new customers to even pick up the phone. Don’t waste your time."
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They sold us on just cleaning the liner instead of replacing it like the other companies said we should do. They promised they would go $200 into cleaning the liner to determine if the pool would hold water and if it wouldn't, they would replace it. After 2-1/2 months they turned over a pool that didn't hold water and still looked awful. This kept us from putting the house on the market during selling season and a pool that didn't pass FHA inspections. So we still had to buy a $4000 new liner after paying them $2000 . Charlie wouldn't return calls or texts. He was very untrustworthy. Basically he did a job that would benefit himself so he could charge us for the cleaning process when he knew from the beginning there was holes in the liner. The ONE thing he was efficient with was placing a lien on our property after 7 days even though their terms state 30 days to pay. He knew we were unhappy with the results so he wanted to make sure he got his money before closing. The new company said it was full of holes and would never have passed inspections. He was very deceptive with his sales pitch! The picture shows what the liner looked like after the water leaked out and the liner pulled away from the sides one week after completion."
